I love peanut butter.

Like, really.

I normally eat natural peanut butter as the more processed kind upsets my stomach with the different oils used.

But this stuff, this stuff does not upset my stomach, it makes my stomach pretty fricken’ happy.

Have you heard of PB2 powdered peanut butter? It’s essentially ground up peanuts (plus sugar, salt), into a fine flour, where you get add water and mix to a consistency similar to peanut butter from the jar.


PLUS, 2tbs is only 45 calories, 1.5g fat, 5g carb and still 5g protein!

Compared to Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter with 210 calories, 16g fat, 6g carb and 7g protein.

PB2 is so versatile. It can be used in baking, recipes or just smothered on an apple or banana (my favorite way to eat). The taste is different than peanut butter, it takes a few tries to get used to after eating only peanut butter, but it seriously is good. It has a good mix of salty and sweet and definitely has original peanut flavoring.

It can be found in some grocery stores like Whole Foods, or ordered online through the Bell Plantation site or Amazon .You can order a variety of sizes, too. They also have a chocolate flavor (haven’t tried).

Another similar powdered peanut butter is Just Great Stuff. I have this in stock at my local Wegmans. It’s very similar to PB2, but I do prefer the taste of PB2 just a bit more. I think Just Great Stuff is too tangy and fake tasting.
